Father Jim Crisman graduated from Franciscan University with a degree in math. He worked in financial services for a year, enjoying his position, but he knew the Lord was calling him to something more. For the next two years, he ministered in Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary, teaching English and catechetics. Restless, he returned to the United States, obtained a graduate degree in education, and then moved to Colorado where he taught math. The Lord wasn’t done with him though, and eventually God called him to discern a vocation to the priesthood. Ordained in 2001 for the Archdiocese of Denver, Father Jim now serves as the vocations director in Denver.
